The Best in Law Enforcement Training
Our Rolling Surveillance (mobile surveillance), Undercover Field Operations (undercover police training), and Chop Shop Auto Theft Investigations courses are structured for police individuals as well as task force teams. Classes are instructed by a Qualified Expert in the subject matter presented and then taken into the field for hands-on training in an uncontrolled environment. We are hosted and contracted by law enforcement agencies around the country .
The instructor was a police investigator on task forces working high-profile cases. He has extensive experience and a true understanding for what is necessary to present in the classroom to be used in the field. His knowledge, wisdom, enthusiasm, and energy are apparent as he teaches both in the classroom and hands-on in the field.
Many of our trademark classes were originally created out of necessity and demand, when there was nothing like them available. They are now recognized and replicated by other academies and agencies, but without the energy and full comprehension of the original developer, Tim Lewis. Attempting to clone the original is never quite as good, thus the reason agencies continue to return to LCI Services programs.
We created and use an effective approach to teaching beginning and advanced mobile and foot surveillance training. responding to counter-surveillance, undercover police operations, auto theft chop shop investigations, and other topics. We provide course materials, hands-on time in the field, a certificate of training, special amenities, and meals. LCI Services, concepts, and training solely created by Tim Lewis, aiming to provide the highest quality instruction by the experts with a unique theme approach – real life training – into criminal investigations. The special emphasis is on Surveillance, Undercover Operations, Vehicle Theft, Fraud, Drugs Narcotics and other related crimes, controlled and operated by sophisticated individuals and Organized Criminal groups.
Our instruction is focused on understanding the Organized Crime group’s history, culture, structure, philosophy, and methods of operation. We provide individual classes directed at the investigative aspects and approach to a case investigation. Our primary focus has been on the tools necessary for success in order to combat these criminals, primarily: Surveillance (“Rolling Surveillance™” and “Rolling Surveillance™ II”), Undercover Field Operations™, and Chop Shop Investigations©, where the classes go hands-on into the field to search for criminals, narcotics, terrorists, chop shops, and stolen vehicles.
In the beginning, LCI Services was the first to offer realistic scenario surveillance and undercover training, including other topics, out in the field where law enforcement actually works. Everyone else was just waking up to what 21st century schooling should be for these topics – where it was still kept in the classroom. We led the way and continue to be the leading example of kinesthetic, realistic scenarios and the success it has on the LE attendees.
This type of coaching was derived from Tim’s background in over 47 years of Athletics and Law Enforcement combined, because it was structured as athletes train with the topics being in law enforcement (amateur and professional sports from 1969 to 2003, Law Enforcement from 1983 to 2003, and Law Enforcement instructing from 2003 to present).
Athletes and the military train for the battle through battle simulations in the field. Tim noticed that law enforcement was not doing the same with exception to emergency vehicle maneuvers, enforcement stops, and firearms training, yet all done in a controlled environment. LCI training is done in the field of where officers work … an uncontrolled environment.
This approach and learning style are strongly supported by Tim’s athletic training… a “No BS” approach, because BS serves no one well. Everyone does not get a trophy, as you must earn your successes and course certificate in this realist approach.
Because of our success, many others have followed, trying to replicate and taking without permission, our training for law enforcement, but without true knowledge and understanding of the proven techniques created by Tim Lewis. So why attend a concert by a copycat group when you can see/hear the real group? The clone is never as good as the original. You get what you pay for.
